Always a sailor…
Born at an early age, I took a liking to boats and all things nautical. After high school I even joined the Navy. Throughout my various careers, I’ve worked as a psychologist, professor, administrator, entrepreneur and journalist. Since retiring, I’ve also taken up full-time RVing but given a choice, I prefer sailing.
For a number of years I taught various boating courses for the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron, as well as sailing skills on charter boats off the coast of British Columbia. Occasionally, I charter a boat for a week or two and write about the experience.
This website provides some of my articles, which have been published in various boating magazines. If you’re planning to sail in my wake, you may benefit from my experience.
